The Moments Golf Club was established in 1994 by a group of business persons entrepreneurs, and professionals with the intentional objective of strengthening our relationships to bring about improvements in the community. Our members come from all walks of life and include doctors, retailers, lawyers, engineers, dentists, restaurateurs, publishers, politicians, carpenters, educators, vehicle repairmen, contractors, accountants, air traffic controllers, as well as professionals in the fields of law enforcement, finance, insurance, labor, information technology, pharmaceuticals and more.
The love of golf led us to use the tenets of the game (i.e. - mental agility, skills improvement, discipline, timeliness, social subtleties, etc.) as a vehicle to build a framework and guide us in our interactions to advance economic development in the community and to extend educational opportunities to youth.
Central to the values of the organization is our scholarship program for college bound young people. Through our Moments Golf Club Scholarship Fund, our organization makes awards by working with school leadership to identify those graduating seniors who qualify for our scholarships.
The mission of the Moments Golf Club is to characterize and advance values that strengthen and improve the quality of life in one community; serve as business and professional role models to encourage and support the higher education of young people; and obtain continuing economic opportunity for the communities in which we serve.
The Moments Golf Club uses the tenets of the game to advance economic development in the community and extend educational opportunities to youth.
